Engineering Manager XDR

Job description

With our XDR product and engineering team expanding, EclecticIQ now seeks an Engineering Manager for our XDR team. The Engineering Manager will be a technical leader, with people and project management responsibilities, solving technical challenges and leading initiatives in the development of the platform and will be expected to have high-quality skills in building a SaaS product with Python, JavaScript (with an ability to pick other languages as well), along with other commonly used cloud technologies and databases. They will have hands-on expertise in building microservices-based architecture and comfortable working with DevOps/CI/CD tooling like Jenkins and Gitlab.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a successful delivery of XDR;
  • Lead technical initiatives to solve challenging problems;
  • Work within our Engineering and Product Management teams to define product road map;
  • Design, Develop and Continuously improve our product(s);
  • Work closely with the development and architecture team based in Amsterdam and India and spread across functions like UI, QA, and Customer Success to design, develop and deliver the new EIQ - XDR platform;
  • Assist with troubleshooting any customer issues;
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience;
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical lead role;
  • 3+ years of experience in building scalable SaaS products;
  • Experience with Enterprise (B2B) SaaS products in scale-up companies;
  • Strong experience working with Python; 
  • Strong experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases;
  • Demonstrable experience with Git;
  • Demonstrable experience with CI/CD and DevOps;
  • Demonstrable experience working with AWS and cloud architectures;
  • Demonstrable experience working with Docker and microservices; 
  • Comfortable driving project management methodologies like Agile and Scrum;
  • Result-driven mindset and systematic problem-solving approach; 
  • Solid time management skills and the ability to drive things to closure with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills;
  • Experience in working with Kubernetes is a big plus;
  • Prior experience with GraphQL is a plus;
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/React is a plus; 
  • Familiarity with GitLab is a plus; 
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity domain is a plus.
