For the high-energy lead generation professional, the Sales Development Representative is a great opportunity to help drive demand for our emerging EDR and XDR solutions. Your proven track record of working strategically with both Marketing and Sales teams in a business development and lead generation capacity will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced, high-activity environment. Partnering closely with the marketing function, you will contact prospective customers and for qualifying opportunities for the EclecticIQ solution-set. Working with our seasoned account executives, you will research and build pipeline and help determine our most effective engagement channels. Our lead generation representatives are high-energy, self-motivated, agile, and able to change hats on the fly. In this highly prized role, excellent phone and social engagement skills and the ability to assess customer opportunities on-the-fly will be critical to your success. You will be responsible for accurately tracking customer interactions and information in our CRM system. We're looking for professionals with strong organizational and follow-up skills who work well in a team environment. Prior lead generation or sales prospecting experience will enhance your candidacy for this role. Responsibilities 

  • Conduct a high-volume of calls, email, social media outreach leading to
    qualified prospects and meetings.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to identify opportunities.
  • Engage prospects to ensure readiness and identify product fit.
  • Proactively create prospecting strategies with other sales team
    members that deliver new opportunities.
  • Help create and prioritize strategic target account lists.
  • Implement problem-based selling strategies focused on outcomes.
  • Leverage internal and external technology to identify, develop, and manage leads effectively, including sources such as CRM*, social
    media, search engines, and press releases.
  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-12 months of previous prospecting experience.
  • Prior experience with telemarketing, lead generation, or cold calling.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills.
  • Self-confidence to make decisions and explain why.
  • Demonstratable expertise in conducting prospecting research.
  • Highly motivated individual that operates with little training and oversight.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and explain how EclecticIQ solutions fulfill that need.
  • A general understanding of information technology, security, and SaaS offerings.
  • Ability to build meaningful business relationships with EclecticIQ customers, prospects, and internal colleagues.
  • A start-up or growth mindset, consistently working to improve your skills and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Humble confidence and the enthusiasm to differentiate yourself to customers.
  • Open-minded, eager to learn, and persistent attitude.
  • HubSpot or SalesForce experience is a plus.
