Senior Frontend Engineer

EclecticIQ Endpoint Response is an endpoint management and visibility platform that integrates into various proprietary and non-proprietary 3rd party back-ends like AlienVault, Splunk, ElasticSearch, Chronicle, GrayLog, and EclecticIQ XDR.

As the Frontend engineer, you’ll help build a web interface of ER platform. You will work closely together with product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers to solve challenging problems and deliver valuable features. Within the UI engineering team, you’ll pair-code, review code, do technical design, implement best practices, and help continuously improve the team.


Responsibilities

  • Continuously execute against the mission of building the architecture and implementation of the EclecticIQ ER Platform frontend;
  • Work with necessary stakeholders from inside and outside the team to design and develop a modern accessible and performant user interface;
  • Collaborate with other UI engineers, providing technical feedback(code reviews etc.) and promoting UI architectural standards and best practices;
  • Contribute to the design and development of our design system.

Requirements

  • At least 8-12 years of experience building software with JavaScript;
  • At least 3 years of experience with architecting and designing front-end applications;
  • Proven experience designing and developing large-scale accessible and performant applications with Web Technologies;
  • Experience designing and building large-scale React/Angular applications UI libraries/frameworks;
  • Solid understanding of modern tooling such as Webpack, Babel, Yarn, etc.;
  • Strong understanding of performance monitoring and optimization techniques and approaches for modern web applications;
  • Strong experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases;
  • Strong experience working with AWS;
  • Knowledge of AngularJS, ReactJS, High Traffic, Multi User, 
  • Knowledge of Django, Postgress, Python, RabbitMQ, Java, SQLAlchemy is a plus;
  • Experience with Flow/Typescript, GraphQL and GraphQL client libraries (e.g. Apollo, Relay) is a plus;
  • Contribution to open source is a plus;
  • An appreciation for design and user interaction is an advantage;
  • Strong team player mindset;
  • Willingness to pick up and own a variety of tasks in a small team, building a software product from the ground up;
  • Ability and keenness to help the QA team.
