As the VP of Marketing, you will develop brand and marketing strategies, delegate tasks to the marketing team, set and achieve targets, and establish relationships with the media and clients. You should be able to build relationships with a variety of professionals.

Responsibilities

As our market champion, the VP of Marketing leads a team of 6 individuals and will effectively drive marketing’s key initiatives.

Go to market: characterizing markets, segments, buying motions and informing our sales, marketing and product strategies accordingly.

Messaging: ensuring we maintain a compelling story that sticks to our value proposition and speak to the mind of our customers’ personae.

Product marketing: enabling our sales and channel team with substantial product-related content and providing them with recurring trainings.

Demand generation: fueling our sales funnel with quality MQLs and driving our account-targeted lead generation.

Brand awareness: building our brand in our targeted markets, notably in North America.

  • Analyzing existing branding and marketing strategies and improving upon them;
  • Leading a capable marketing team and delegating tasks fairly;
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and allocating resources appropriately;
  • Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer;
  • Conducting market research and implementing new strategies based on findings;
  • Monitoring industry trends and scheduling meetings to share new information with the team;
  • Setting daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, and implementing various incentives to ensure they are achieved;
  • Closely monitoring competitors’ successes and failures and learning from them;
  • Supervising marketing events and launches and using these spaces to network with industry professionals;
  • Assisting with the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff.

Requirements

  • BSc in marketing, branding, business, PR, or a similar field;
  • Master’s degree may be preferable;
  • Extensive experience (a minimum of 5 years) in the cybersecurity industry;
  • Knowledge and experience of CTI, product management, incidence response and XDR & EDR is a plus;
  • Strong leadership skills (a minimum of 5-7 years in Marketing leadership) and the ability to make difficult decisions;
  • Empowering management style;
  • Superb marketing and research skills;
  • Knowledge and practical experience with SEO, digital marketing tools, and related software;
  • Highly observant and analytical;
  • Strategic and logical thinking, persuasiveness;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Full English proficiency.
